Did you know fraud is the most common crime in Canada, with roughly 17% of adults (5 million people) affected over a five-year period? Additionally, fraud against Canadian businesses reached an estimated CAD $111billion in 2025, a 42% increase from 2024, as reported by TransUnion Canada.
That's why for Fraud Prevention Month (March) we invite you to our OPP Fraud Prevention Presentation. This information session will provide participants with the opportunity to gain knowledge, insight and helpful advice relating to growing concerns about fraud from an experienced OPP constable.
Presented by the Wellington County OPP, in partnership with the Arthur, Mapleton, Minto and Mount Forest Chambers of Commerce.
This presentation is open to the community, so bring family and friends to help prevent fraud in your business and at home.
