Arthur and Area Historical Society was formed on January 29, 2003. Monthly meetings are scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of each month at the Arthur Chamber of Commerce office at 7:30pm. Tours of historical rooms are available Wednesdays from 1:00pm-3:00p
Arthur Agricultural Society
In addition to the Fall Fair, The Arthur Agricultural Society also participates in various community activities. Some of these include: Art in the Street, Lions Club Duck Race, Groundhog Day Dinner/Family Skate, Entertainment Night and 4-H dinners.

The Arthur Lions Club received its charter in 1939. They support Minor Sports, 4-H Club, the Arthur Pool, and local hospitals. With the help of local organizations, the Club also distributes food hampers at Christmas time.
